Welcome to ‘Naekemiin’, a space where I, Florence, bring together my thoughts and musings on the complex topic of death, including all aspects of burials and funerals. Like many, the loss of loved ones has made me reflect on how we deal with farewells, leading me to notice certain outdated practices amidst these solemn rituals.
Though not a professional blogger, I find this format ideal for expressing my evolving perspectives on death and its associated customs. As a passionate communicator, interested in cultures and new technologies like AI, I am inspired to explore and possibly integrate these modern tools in my discussions here.
While my initial inclination was towards the French term “au revoir”, which was already taken, ‘Naekemiin’ resonated with me due to its distinctive sound and its poignant relevance to our discussions about final farewells.
Join me in this journey of exploration, where we can share and learn together about the ever-changing landscape of life’s final chapter. I encourage you to leave comments and share your perspectives – I’m eager to hear and discuss them!
Looking forward to our conversations,
Florence
